He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Data Science and Intelligent Systems, and Dean (Academic & Student Affairs), Indian Institute of Information Technology Dharwad. Has more than 26 years teaching experience in various capacities. He also worked as a System Analyst in a software organization and has undertaken many project consultancies.

Currently has consultancy project “High level software architecture development to integrate healthcare applications” of Health and Family welfare Department, Government of Karnataka. A R&D Project “Autonomous Navigating Humanoid” under Technology Innovation Hub TiHAN-IIT Hyderabad and CDAC Hyderabad. Team member: Grant for 5G Labs setup at IIIT Dharwad, funded by Govt. of India.

His areas of interest are cryptography & network security, blockchain, computer networks, and AI & ML. He is a senior member of IEEE, member EXCOM IEEE-CS Bangalore chapter (2021), member of CRSI, CSI and ISTE. Qualified GATE 97 and GATE 98, has earned GATE-98 Scholarship for his M.Tech Program.

Her PhD Thesis focused on Project Management Practices and Sustainability of Food Security Projects in Arid Lands in Kenya. She has been certified with Project Monitoring and Evaluation and Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).

She is an associate member of KIM and a Live Member for Kenya Red Cross. She has several years’ experience in teaching at University level and successfully supervised research thesis for postgraduate students.

Currently She is working as a Dean, School of Management and Leadership and a Senior Lecturer at the Management University of Africa-Nairobi. She has done intensive research and published widely in Project Management and Quality Management. She has interest in researches involving climate change, food security, environmental issues and Learning institutions.
